IIM Bangalore (IIMB) has recorded 100 per cent placements for its lateral and final placements for the PGP and PGPBA Class of 2023-25. All 595 students who participated in the placement process secured offers from 176 firms. The placement season saw strong participation from both legacy and new recruiters, with approximately 30 per cent being first-time recruiters, the institute stated. The total batch size was 602, with some students opting out of the placement process.

Professor Nishant Verma, Chairperson of Career Development Services, IIM Bangalore, said, “Despite being a challenging year for the job market around the world, IIM Bangalore conducted the process efficiently, setting a benchmark both in terms of the number of offers made and the diversity of roles across sectors.”

Management consulting accounted for 41 per cent of the offers, with 32 firms making 245 offers. This was followed by IT, software, analytics and product management, where 34 firms extended 80 offers.

The finance, banking and investment sectors saw 41 firms making 79 offers, while e-commerce, payments, telecom and logistics collectively accounted for 70 offers from 19 firms. The manufacturing, construction, energy and infrastructure sectors saw 16 firms making 37 offers.

Meanwhile, FMCG, retail and conglomerates contributed 23 offers, with participation from 8 firms. Additionally, the healthcare and education sectors together accounted for 23 offers.
