Energy tech and IoT solutions provider Aliste Technologies has raised ₹30 crore in a pre-Series A round comprising a mix of equity and debt, led by Big Global JSC, with participation from existing investor YourNest Venture Capital and manufacturing partner Hbeon Labs.

The Gurugram-based start-up said the fresh capital will be used to deepen its research into energy-aligned solutions and expand distribution, as it sharpens its focus on enterprise energy optimisation across sectors.

Founded in 2021 by VIT batchmates, the company first gained visibility as a direct-to-consumer smart home brand on Shark Tank India Season 1, but has since pivoted into a full-stack enterprise solutions provider.

“Aliste is building the intelligence layer for energy-helping enterprises to monitor, control, and optimise usage across hospitality, co-living, and commercial spaces,” said Shreyansh Jain. “Our core conviction is that what is good for the planet is inherently good for business. We are proving that sustainability is a critical financial lever, not just an ESG check-box,” he added.

The company develops proprietary hardware and software systems that integrate with existing infrastructure, offering real-time visibility into energy consumption and costs. Its solutions are currently deployed across co-living spaces, retail outlets, restaurants and hospitality chains.

In co-living, Aliste’s smart energy monitors plug into electrical panels to reduce leakages and enable pre-paid billing models, helping operators improve collections. In retail and quick-service restaurants, its energy management systems track equipment efficiency and can lower power bills by up to 20%, while also predicting asset failures. For hotels, the company offers revenue leakage monitoring tools aimed at cutting electricity costs and preventing unauthorised room usage.

“As AI adoption accelerates, energy costs will continue to rise, putting pressure on operating margins and disposable incomes,” said Preetinder Panjrath. “Aliste Technologies is positioned at the intersection of AI adoption and higher energy costs, and we expect it to be a key beneficiary as it helps offset this structural increase,” he added.

The start-up said it currently manages about 3 million units of energy consumption monthly across over 1.5 lakh IoT assets. Its efficiency solutions are helping reduce carbon emissions by over 3.28 lakh kg per month, with plans to scale this impact 10-fold over the next year.
