Chalet Hotels (₹818.65)

Breaks out of resistance

The stock of Chalet Hotels has been rallying for nearly two weeks. Early last week, it broke out of a resistance at ₹810, opening the door for further rally. While the likelihood of a price rise is high, there is a good chance for the stock to see some moderation in price before the next uptrend. The correction can drag the price to ₹780. Given the above factors, traders can buy the stock of Chalet Hotels now at ₹818 and accumulate at ₹780 Place stop-loss at ₹710. When the stock rises to ₹900, raise the stop-loss to ₹850. Tighten the stop-loss further to ₹900 when the stock hits ₹950. Liquidate the longs at ₹1,000.

DLF (₹621.60)

Surpasses a key hurdle

The stock reversed the trend in early April after finding the support at ₹490. In May, the scrip formed a higher base at ₹555. On the back of this, it rallied and surpassed a barrier at ₹615. Also, the price has moved above 21-day moving average. The chart shows that the outlook has turned positive but there could be a price decline, possibly to ₹590. Participants can consider fresh longs at the current level of ₹621 and buy more shares if the price dips to ₹590. Keep initial stop-loss at ₹540. When the price goes up to ₹680, alter the stop-loss to ₹630. Tighten the stop-loss to ₹680 when the stock hits ₹720. Book profits at ₹750.

GMDC (₹585.90)

Approaching a strong support

The stock of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) has been on a decline since early May. The barrier at ₹750 triggered the downtrend. While there are no signs of a bullish reversal now, the chart shows that the stock is approaching a strong weekly trendline at ₹580. We anticipate a recovery on the back of this. Once the trend reverses, it can appreciate to retest ₹750. So, traders can go long at ₹580 and place a stop-loss at ₹550. When the price goes up to ₹640, raise the stop-loss to ₹600. Tighten the stop-loss to ₹650 when the stock hits ₹700. Book profits at ₹750. Stick to the stop-loss strictly as the breach ₹580 can trigger a sharp decline.
