With Epic Games launching the Fortnite 41.10 update, players have been treated to a whole new set of Sprites to play with. However, Epic has also added Fortnite Shock Rocks to the game with the new update, introducing a whole new level of mobility for players. If you are curious about how these consumables actually work, here’s everything you need to know.

You can get Shock Rocks in Fortnite through regular loot sources like loot chests. Apart from that, you can also find Shock Rocks scattered around the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map, especially around the Zero Point at the center of the map. Additionally, players can also find these Shock Rocks around Extraction Sites.

If you are unable to find Shock Rocks, however, you can also use the new Aura Sprite to get the Shock Rock effect. When you have the Fortnite Aura Sprite equipped during a match, you can deal a certain amount of damage to enemies to automatically gain a Shock Rock charge.

How to Use Shock Rocks in Fortnite

You can use the Shock Rock in Fortnite by consuming it just like any other consumable, which will grant you the Shockwave effect for a limited time. While the Shock Rock effect is active, you gain the ability to jump up to 3 times mid-air. With each jump, players are launched higher up, with the third jump allowing players to easily rotate through the Chapter 7 Season 3 map.

The Shock Rocks have a ton of different use cases in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. For starters, much like the Hop Rocks or Shockwave Grenades, the Shock Rocks can help you be completely immune to fall damage. This can help you escape risky fights and jump down massive structures without worrying about dying.

Of course, players can use the Shock Rocks to quickly gain high ground during battle. Since the item is brand new, your enemies will not be expecting you to essentially climb to the top of build fights and catch them off guard.
