Harry Styles is making sure his dedicated fans are being heard as he kicks off his highly anticipated string of residency shows on his Together, Together Tour.

On Saturday, May 16, Harry played his first of 10 shows at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, and fans with VIP floor access weren’t exactly pleased with the stage’s format, since its height blocked their view at certain points. The stage is made up of several walkways, each spanning 350 feet, and depending on where attendees stand in the crowd, their view could be blocked by its height.

“Imagine paying €350 for an obstructed view,” one fan wrote, sarcastically adding a heart-eyes emoji. Others admitted they saw Harry’s supporting act, Robyn, on the large screens, but couldn’t place where she was on stage.

Fans were especially frustrated as tickets for this section ranged from $360 to $915, per a fan account’s calculations during the presale in January.

Harry’s tour rep has confirmed that the feedback was heard loud and clear, as they issued a statement to Variety addressing the situation. For the record: the One Direction alum’s live shows typically leave an open space on the general admission floor for attendees to dance and move around freely, and his reps claim the stage was created with this intention.

“The floor concept was designed to give fans freedom of movement and the ability to experience the show from different positions, rather than being confined to one fixed viewing angle. That open, free-flowing floor experience has always been an essential part of Harry’s live shows,” they wrote.

They also shared that they will be looking into a solution for the blocked views, adding, “A small area of the staging in specific floor positions appears to have had a restricted sightline. Those areas are being reviewed carefully and adjusted where possible in compliance with all safety restrictions.”

After Harry’s opening night, fans outlined a detailed map of where the singer ends up during each song. (When people say Harries are dedicated, this is definitely what they’re referring to.)

While the exact solution is unclear at this time, there’s still some kudos to pass along to Harry and his team for taking fans’ feedback to make his show a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
