I saw Janel in concert with Mdou Moctar here in Pittsburgh. One of top 10 concerts I had ever seen energy matched energy in a magnificent way. Not empty calories.
Haven't seen Janel, but did see Moctar-wotta killer show, tore it up (and to an audience that I'm sure didn't come to see him and a Solid Sounds Festival in Massachussets).

i can relate exactly to what you're saying Dave. there's too much music to listen to in such a short life to be wasting time watching tv! (and movies, at least in my case) it doesn't mean i don't enjoy those things; it's just a matter of priority.
