and I'd forgotten how much EC changed his vocal style since that first lp- saw that tour at the Whiskey my first 'punk' show- germs within months ha!
A lot of people feel like you. I think he's one of the greatest songwriters in rock history. Up there with Ray Davies in my book. Sometimes I sit down and play nothing but his songs from the debut to Imperial Bedroom ---- just for days and days. And I never get tired of his songs. Trust, Get Happy! all just loaded with all-timers.
Hey Dan! Yes I did get it. I plan on sending a detailed reply tomorrow but the bottom line is as long as you have the ability to record your voice and send me the files, I can assemble as Drop-In if you want. late November and all of December are available if you want a slot.
They dedicated this song to ‘Emily’ at the show the other nite. Not sure if because she loves the song, or if because she’s a skipping around sort of gal.
i wrote a song when i was a shy teenager about the pine tree, and how fast, easy and forgiving it is!
...who knows how long a shy boy stays a virgin for if not for *pine trees*!
