The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers are set for a winner-take-all Game 7 at TD Garden after a wildly dramatic first-round series.
With the Sixers stunning the Celtics to erase a 3-1 deficit, both teams arrive at this pivotal clash with key injury concerns. Here is everything you need to know about who is in and who is out.
The 76ers are riding high after back-to-back elimination game wins, and their injury report is relatively clean heading into Game 7.
Joel Embiid is listed as probable due to his ongoing recovery from an emergency appendectomy performed on April 9. Despite still being in recovery mode, Embiid has been nothing short of dominant since returning, averaging 26.0 points, eight rebounds, and 7.3 assists across his three playoff appearances this series.
The rest of the Sixers roster, including Tyrese Maxey and Paul George, who dropped a series-high 23 points in Game 6 are fully available.
The Celtics enter Game 7 with a completely clean injury report; no players are listed. The team officially announced via social media: “Injury Report for Game 7 vs. PHI: No injuries to report.”
That said, all eyes remain on Jayson Tatum, who exited Game 6 in the third quarter.

Tatum left Game 6 with left calf tightness after heading to the locker room with roughly four minutes remaining in the third quarter. Despite the scare, the Celtics star was quick to downplay concerns.
“My leg was just a little stiff when I came out. It was my other leg. Not the one I injured last year. I wasn’t overly concerned,” Tatum told reporters.
Coach Joe Mazzulla was equally blunt. He said, “He’ll play.” Per ESPN’s Shams Charania, Tatum told teammates after the game that he is “fine” and “good to go” for tonight.

Still, experts have flagged serious concerns. Former Patriot Damien Woody warned that calf injuries can be precursors to Achilles tears, especially given Tatum’s torn right Achilles from last season.
either team advance, they’ll face the New York Knicks in the second round. For the Celtics, a Game 7 win would set up a blockbuster East semifinal matchup against the Knicks, but doing so with a potentially compromised Tatum would raise serious questions about Boston’s title ceiling.
For the 76ers, eliminating the No. 2 seed on the road would be one of the great playoff upsets in recent memory and signal that an Embiid-led squad is a genuine threat to dethrone New York. Either way, the Knicks will be watching this one very closely tonight.
