Formula 1 returns this weekend after a month-long break. The first race back will be the 2026 Miami Grand Prix, going down on Sunday, May 2, at the Miami International Autodrome.
After the season’s first three races, Mercedes has separated itself as the one to beat. George Russell and Kimi Antonelli won all three, with Antonelli taking first in China and Japan. Ferrari has come in third every race, with Charles Leclerc taking podiums in Australia and Japan, and Hamilton doing the same in China. McLaren’s Oscar Piastri is the only other driver to get a podium finish, taking second in Japan.
All Formula 1 race livestreams are now available exclusively on Apple TV. If you’re based in the U.S., the best way to follow the sport is to get an Apple TV subscription. The service costs $12.99 a month, but you can get a seven-day free trial to start.
An Apple TV subscription will get you access to streams of every practice, qualifying, and race this season, as well as views of warmups, analysis, interviews, and more. Plus, the hit series Drive to Survive has become available on Apple TV, in addition to its home on Netflix.
If you’re traveling or want to access an F1 Miami livestream in another country, you’ll want to get a VPN (virtual private network). These services let you access content that may be geoblocked in your physical location, letting you access F1 livestreams (and other content) from anywhere in the world. We recommend ExpressVPN, a popular VPN with fast speeds, tons of servers, and a reasonable price of $13 a month (plus a 30-day money-back guarantee).
The 2026 Miami Grand Prix race is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, at 1 p.m. ET.
