Home page update
Aaron T. Grogg · 2026-02-19 · via Aaron T. Grogg

It has been a very long time since I have done any renovations on this site… But this week launches a new start…

This site has always really been just my blog, but thanks to an encouraging friend, I have decided to replace the home page blogroll with a more developer-centric landing page:
https://aarontgrogg.com/

The landing page starts with a fresh new look (no light/dark yet), includes a photo and quick bio, then launches into essentially an infomercial / cover letter…

I plan to add more sections, probably tweak stuff as I play around and get bored with something, and am still trying to decide whether or not I should cascade this new design through the entire site, or leave the blog section as it is…

Anyhow, always fun playing with new stuff, and I did pepper a few bits here and there, trying to have some fun, while still keeping it somewhat professional, but always trying to be performant and accessible.

Curious what you think so far? Like? Dislike? Any missteps? And suggestions?

Happy reading,
Atg
