Преди няколко месеца внезапно (както май често става) започнах да мисля за програмиране (как ли така…) и най-вече за JavaScript. Забелязах как все повече програмисти се насочват към този език, как все повече започва да се използва навсякъде (дори за server-side приложения) и все пак колко слабо е развито community-то в България. Бях взимал участие в .net потребителските групи и забелязах колко интересни дискусии се получават. Също така ми направи впечатление колко е приятно да се събират хора с еднакви интереси, на които работата им доставя истинско удоволствие (както е в моя случай). Разгледах в Google за подобни JS community-та и за съжаление не открих такова в България. Свързах се с MunichJS и MontrealJS…От разменените ми няколко e-mail-a с тях забелязах, че срещите на developer-и ориентирани по-скоро към Open Source са дори по-приятни. И така реших да организирам нещо подобно и в София. Известно време (около 2 секунди) се чудих за подходящо място, на което могат да се организират срещите на една евентуална JavaScript User Group-a. Разбира се, първото място, за което се сетих беше init Lab. Попитах Влади (“човекът държащ ключовете за портала, чрез който се достигат портите на Лаба”…само какво художествено настроение ме е сполетяло) дали ще можем на определен интервал от време да организираме срещи, на които да си говорим за хубави неща (програмиране) и да правим готини workshop-ове с бира в ръка…той вероятно също се колеба около 2 секунди и ми отговори. Изключително благодарен съм му за помощта, която оказа в случая и продължава да оказва. И така не след дълго организирахме първата среща. Повече информация за нея можете да намерите тук. Всичко мина..как да се изразя…ммм супер яко! :) Всички присъстващи бяха много готини и разговорите с тях се водеха с голямо удоволствие. Вечерта продължихме в близката пицария, като си говорихме за програмиране до около 00:00 часа. Тази събота (12.11.2011) предстои втората среща на групата. Програмата за нея можете да видите тук. Освен посетителите от миналия път се надявам да видя и нови лица, с които да се запозная :).
