Eleventy in a Box. A premium Eleventy start kit - Stuff & Nonsense
Andy Clarke, Stuff & Nonsense Ltd. · 2026-06-19 · via Stuff & Nonsense Blog feed

For the past few years, unless a client insists otherwise, Eleventy has been my go-to for building websites. Now, I’ve put all my experience using Eleventy into Eleventy in a Box. It’s a premium Eleventy starter kit for designers and developers who want to spend less time setting up the same project structure and more time designing distinctive websites.

Core and Pro versions to choose from

There are two versions of Eleventy in a Box to choose from: “Core” and “Pro.” Both give you a clean, practical foundation for building static websites with Eleventy. They include pre-built pages, reusable templates, sensible configuration, modern CSS, and Netlify deployment settings.

Core costs £49 and contains:

  • Configurable home page, ready to adapt to your project
  • Reusable template files for creating pages quickly and consistently
  • Ready-made contact page with contact information and pre-built Netlify form
  • Killer Privacy, so your project starts with a privacy policy, not a blank page
  • Error pages you can rewrite and restyle to suit your project

Pro costs £99 and includes everything in Core, plus all the feature packs I’ve developed over the past few years:

  • Blog, with index, category, entry, and tags templates
  • Case studies, with index, category, and entry templates
  • Changelog, ideal for software providers
  • FAQs, with index, category, and entry templates
  • Portfolio, with index, category, and entry templates
  • Services, with index and entry templates
  • Team, with index and entry templates
  • Testimonials, with index and entry partials

Websites built using Eleventy in a Box

These websites all started with Eleventy in a Box, but they don’t look anything alike. Eleventy in a Box gives you a foundation, not a fixed visual style.

Check out the live demo, which has all the feature packs installed.

Pricing

Eleventy in a Box is a one-time purchase; no subscriptions. You get a commercial licence to build one unique website. If you’re an agency who’d like a multi-site license, let’s talk about your options. You get updates for the lifetime of the product, plus 12 months of email support.

Eleventy in a Box isn’t a finished theme. That’s the point. It gives you the structure, patterns, and configuration you need, then gets out of your way. You can change the design, rewrite the content, add your own components, remove sections you don’t need, and shape the codebase around your project. It’s saved me a ton of time. It can do the same for you.
