This 1973 Moto Guzzi Eldorado 850 was refurbished in black over a gray powder-coated frame in 2017, at which time its V-twin was overhauled with a Gilardoni 1,000cc top end kit. Additional modifications include an MG Cycles exhaust, K&N pod air filters, black powder-coated Borrani rims, an engine guard, polished drums, stainless-steel spokes, and a solo saddle. The bike also features a five-speed transmission, an enclosed driveshaft, a twin leading-shoe front drum brake, and a single mirror on the right. This Eldorado 850 was acquired by the seller in 2019 and is now offered with a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The bike has been refinished in gloss black while the frame was powder-coated gloss gray. It features a 6.1-gallon fuel tank, valanced fenders, a chrome-rimmed headlight bucket, a solo seat, and both center and side stands.

The 18″ Borrani rims were powder-coated black, the drums were polished and laced with stainless-steel spokes, and the wheels were mounted with Dunlop K177 whitewall tires 250 miles ago. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at both ends, the front of which features a twin leading-shoe design. Suspension consists of a black-finished shrouded telescopic fork in addition to a pair of shocks attached to the swingarm on the left and the final drive housing on the right.

The chrome handlebar frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline in addition to a keyed ignition switch and indicator lights. The five-digit odometer shows 27k miles, though the seller tells us that the speedometer works but the odometer does not. Total mileage is unknown.

The air-cooled OHV V-twin has been fitted with a Gilardoni 1,000cc top-end kit, MG Cycle H-pipe and mufflers, and K&N pod air filters. The oil was changed 250 miles ago.

The engine is stamped with the number 057699 while the frame tag carries the number 057523.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a single-plate dry clutch, a five-speed transmission, and an enclosed driveshaft.
The Pennsylvania title carries an “Antique Vehicle” brand.
