This 1957 Oldsmobile Golden Rocket 88 Fiesta is a hardtop wagon that was modified and refinished prior to the current owner’s acquisition on BaT in December 2022. Its 455ci V8 was subsequently fitted with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke, and the engine is backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in metallic copper and silver, the wagon has wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, Bilstein rear shocks, and power rack-and-pinion steering. Cabin appointments include a power-adjustable front bench, two-tone leather upholstery, Vintage Air air conditioning, power windows, and an Alpine head unit. Previously offered on BaT in May 2026, this Fiesta is now offered again by Compass Racing Collective, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the owner with a clean California title in the owner’s name.

The metallic copper and silver paintwork was applied following the repair of body panels as part of the refurbishment work, and details include a gold pinstripe, shaved rear door handles, and fender vents sourced from a Cadillac Escalade. Other design elements include a split tailgate, a wraparound windshield, vent windows, and chrome trim, bumpers, and side mirrors. The removed windshield wipers and rear fender skirts are included in the sale. Exterior blemishes are noted.

Chrome 15″ wire wheels are wrapped in whitewall tires. Four-wheel disc brakes are installed along with power rack-and-pinion steering, a front sway bar, and Bilstein rear shocks.

Two rows of bench seats are trimmed in gray and cream leather, and the combination extends to the door panels. Cabin appointments include a power-adjustable front bench, Vintage Air air conditioning, power windows, and an Alpine head unit. Noted flaws include an inoperative Autronic-Eye automatic headlight dimmer, dome light switch, and rear cargo lights. There is a dimple in the headliner at the rear and the power windows blow a fuse when more than one window is lowered at a time.

The replacement steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer with inset gauges, and the fuel-level gauge is not accurate. An analog clock sits atop the padded dash, and aftermarket auxiliary readouts are concealed in the lockable glovebox. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows under 9k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 455ci V8 was previously fitted with a fuel injection setup, which was replaced following the current owner’s acquisition with an Edelbrock AVS2 650-cfm four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke. An Edelbrock Torker intake manifold, a Pertronix distributor and coil, a color-matched two-tone air cleaner cover, and polished valve covers are also fitted. An oil pan leak is noted.

The engine is backed by a Turbo Hydra-Matic 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The car is fitted with a dual exhaust system.
