This 1961 Triumph TR3A received an overhaul in July 2005 that included a repaint in red, a replacement black soft top, and new black leather upholstery along with suspension, brake, and wiring work. Power comes from a rebuilt 1,991cc inline-four linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include chrome trim, 15″ steel wheels with hubcaps, front disc brakes, twin SU carburetors, and a banjo-style steering wheel. The seller purchased the car in 2025, after which the carburetors were rebuilt and it received a replacement fuel pump. This TR3A shows 44k miles and is now offered at no reserve in Canada with manufacturer’s literature, service records, and Ontario registration.

The body was removed from the frame in 2005 and repainted in red. It features a replacement black convertible top, a cowl hood vent, and a chrome grille and bumperettes.

The 15″ steel wheels wear bright hubcaps and are mounted with older 165-series Widetrack tires. The car was factory equipped with a coil-sprung independent front suspension and a semi-elliptic leaf-spring rear suspension which were overhauled during the 2005 work. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The seats received new black leather upholstery with white piping, and replacement carpets were fitted. Amenities include a lockable glovebox, door pockets, and a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror.

The banjo-style steering wheel fronts refurbished instrumentation consisting of a Jaeger 120-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer. Auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage are positioned at the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 700 of which were added under current ownership.

The 1,991cc OHV inline-four was factory-rated at 100 horsepower and 118 lb-ft of torque, and it was overhauled with new pistons, liners, and bearings in 2005, at which time the wiring was replaced. Work in May 2026 involved replacing the fuel pump and spark plugs, rebuilding the dual SU carburetors, and changing the oil. Ignition work was performed in May 2025, at which time the fluids and filters were changed, the fuel tank and lines were cleaned, and the battery was replaced.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The chassis was stripped, realigned, and painted during the 2005 overhaul.
The vehicle is being sold on its Ontario registration, which serves as the ownership document in Ontario, Canada. It is currently unplated.
