This 1929 Chrysler Series 75 coupe was reportedly in storage from 2000 until the seller’s purchase in 2019. Subsequent recommissioning work included rebuilding and over-boring the 248.9ci inline-six, resealing the three-speed manual transmission and rear differential, overhauling the carburetor, water pump, differential, radiator, and hydraulic drum brakes, installing replacement tires and inner tubes, and nickel-plating the headlight buckets, among other work described below. The car is finished in yellow and black over black pleated upholstery, and features 18″ wood-spoke wheels, cowl lamps, a steel sun visor, a black roof panel, a locking passenger-side golf bag door, a rumble seat, and a roll-down rear window. This Chrysler Series 75 is now offered with service records, a set of golf clubs with a color-coordinated bag, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The Series 75 was introduced in June 1928, and one finished 6th at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1929. Approximately 48,850 were produced across 12 body styles for the model year. This example is finished in yellow with black bodyside accents and fenders, and it features yellow pinstriping, cowl lamps, a steel sun visor, a black roof panel, running boards, a passenger-side locking golf bag door, and a single taillight. The Chrysler-branded headlight buckets were nickel-plated under the seller’s ownership, and a replacement radiator cap was installed along with headlight and taillight bulbs.

Black-painted wood-spoke wheels wear yellow pinstriping and silver-painted steel rims, and they are mounted with replacement 5.25/5.50–18″ Lucas bias-ply tires and innertubes that were installed under current ownership. A spare rim with a matching tire is mounted out back. The Series 75 rode on a 121″ wheelbase and features solid axles with leaf springs. Lovejoy lever-arm shock absorbers and four-wheel Lockheed hydraulic drum brakes were standard equipment. The brake system was overhauled with a replacement stainless-steel master cylinder sleeve, wheel cylinder seals and stainless-steel sleeves, brake hoses and hard lines, and a brake light switch as well as relined brake shoes.

The cabin features a bench seat trimmed in black pleated upholstery along with a color-coordinated headliner and door panels. Black carpets line the floors, and the car is equipped with a roll-down rear window. Replacement clutch and brake pedal pads were installed under the seller’s ownership.

The four-spoke steering wheel features hub-mounted controls. It fronts an instrument panel that was refurbished under the seller’s ownership and outfitted with a rebuilt 90-mph barrel-type speedometer as well as rebuilt gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles, approximately 30 of which were added under the seller’s ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

Black pleated upholstery extends to the rumble seat, and black carpets line the footwell.

The 248.9ci inline-six features seven main bearings and was factory rated at 75 horsepower. The engine was rebuilt and bored .040 over under the seller’s ownership, and the engine block, cylinder head, and valves were resurfaced. The carburetor, radiator, water pump, vacuum/fuel pump, and fuel sending unit were also rebuilt, the fuel tank was relined, and the following components were replaced:
Service performed in June 2026 included an oil change and the installation of a replacement six-volt battery, fuel valve, and water pump packing.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed manual transmission that was disassembled and resealed under the seller’s ownership along with the differential. The flywheel was also resurfaced and the clutch was relined.

The car is titled by the California-assigned identification number CA397683. A Chrysler-branded FEDCO plate is retained on the dashboard.

A set of golf clubs with a color-coordinated plaid bag is included in the sale. Included refurbishment records can be seen in the gallery.
