  • Rezvani QuickShift brings a gated shifter to dual-clutch supercars.
  • Created with Italy’s Studio Carrozzi, it aims to recreate a manual feel.
  • Unlike Ferrari’s 12Cilindri Manuale, this setup has no clutch pedal.

Rezvani built its name on military-inspired vehicles derived from popular SUVs like the Jeep Wrangler and Cadillac Escalade, and more recently on its Porsche 911-based RR1. Now the company’s engineering and technology division has pulled the wraps off a radical conversion kit that can turn a supercar with a dual-clutch transmission into a stick shift, quickly and without much fuss.

The Californian company was keen to point out that its first working prototype went online on May 15, 2026, several weeks before Ferrari showed a similar, though more complex, concept for the limited-production 12Cilindri Manuale.

Named Rezvani QuickShift, the system was developed with Italian company Studio Carrozzi, and at a glance it resembles what Ferrari recently revealed for the 12Cilindri Manuale. As in that car, the Rezvani unit works alongside the existing dual-clutch rather than replacing it.

The company hasn’t provided in-depth details on exactly how its shifter works and how it’s mated to the dual-clutch. What it does promise is that it requires no permanent modifications to the transmission and is fully reversible. Rezvani also says the conversion leaves the factory engine management system and existing safety electronics intact. As with the finest manual gearboxes bolted into high-end supercars over the years, it uses a metal gated shifter for that authentic feel

There’s No Third Pedal

While all this sounds rather exciting, there’s one major drawback to the system developed by Rezvani and Studio Carrozzi. A little bit of digging through social media reveals the system does not include a clutch pedal, nor does it require the driver to lift off the throttle while changing gears. As such, it’s hardly a real manual, and the gated shifter simply serves as an alternative to using the paddles.

According to founder and CEO Ferris Rezvani, the goal is to bring back the physical act of selecting each gear without giving up the speed of a modern dual-clutch. He also says every shift produces an audible metallic click and a defined mechanical engagement meant to recall the feel of classic gated manuals, while keeping the factory transmission’s automatic rev-matching in place.

It’s also expensive, costing $25,000. Initially, the system is available exclusively for the Ferrari 458 Italia, 488 GTB, and F12. Additional applications, including the Lamborghini Huracan, Lamborghini Aventador, and C8 Corvette ZR1, are currently under development. Rezvani also says a similar setup will be offered for the broader C8 Corvette range as well.
