Deploy requests for Metal databases now display the estimated amount of storage that will be used during the schema change process. This helps you understand the storage impact before starting the deployment.
For sharded databases, the storage estimation is broken down per shard, giving you detailed visibility into the storage requirements for each individual shard.
If there is not enough available disk space to complete the deploy request, the deployment will be prevented from starting. In this case, you'll need to upgrade your cluster to a larger storage tier before the deploy request can run.
