DALLAS, TEXAS - OCTOBER 22: Victor Wembanyama #1 of the San Antonio Spurs reacts to a score during the first half against the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center on October 22, 2025 in Dallas, Texas.

On Saturday night, the San Antonio Spurs listed Victor Wembanyama as questionable for their Game 4 matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.

At the time, the NBA still had Wembanyama in the league’s concussion protocol.

During the Spurs’ Game 2 matchup against the Blazers, Wembanyama took a hard fall on his head. He immediately got up and went to the locker room to get evaluated. The Spurs ruled out the star center for the remainder of the game.

By the end of the night, Wembanyama was indeed diagnosed with a concussion.

The Spurs are finally playoff contenders in 2025-2026. Since they landed Wembanyama a few years back, the Spurs anticipated becoming one of the Western Conference’s biggest threats.

After getting the second seed in the West, the Spurs have been able to roll out Wembanyama in his first two playoff games so far.

In his debut on April 19, Wembanyama checked in for 33 minutes. The star center shot 61.9% from the field, scoring 35 points. He also produced five rebounds, one assist, and two blocks. The Spurs won 111-98.

In Game 2, the Spurs had Wembanyama for just under 12 minutes. Before going out, he shot 1-3 from the field and scored five points. Wembanyama also had four rebounds, one assist, and one block.

The Spurs and the Blazers are tipping off at 3:30 PM ET for the battle of Game 4.
