Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made a pre-wedding appearance this weekend, but they did so in a very low-profile way.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs are in pre-wedding mode, but they took a break from the planning on Friday, April 17, to have a night out on the town.

Even though Swift and Kelce understandably wanted privacy during their evening out, the cameras were there to capture them. Thankfully for the couple, the cameras didn’t get too close, but they did confirm that couple, according to a report, was there.

According to a research from Page Six, Swift and Kelce “attempted to make an incognito entrance” to New York City hotspot Casa Cipriani on Friday. The two were photographed “covering themselves with umbrellas as they made their way inside the members-only club in Lower Manhattan.”

The report adds add that it’s “unclear what the pair were wearing as their figures were hidden behind three large black umbrellas.”

So, what were the two doing out? The publication thinks they were meeting Swift’s friend Ashley Avignone and Kindred Lubeck, who designed her engagement ring. A post on Lubeck’s Instagram Story on Friday night showed that the designer was with Avignone across the street from Casa Cipriani.

Either way, it’s great to see these two take a break from the closed-door wedding planning and get out on the town. Hopefully they get more nights like these, without the cameras, though.

Travis Kelce Successor May Be Available in 2026 NFL Draft

Kelce is back for the 2026-27 season, but it’s hard to believe that he’ll continue in the NFL after that wraps up. There’s a large belief that the Kansas City Chiefs will draft a Kelce replacement in the 2026 NFL draft.

In a piece for SI, Gilberto Manzano says that he thinks the team should wait to get a cornerback and instead use its No. 9 pick for Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq in a “dream scenario.”

“The Chiefs have a massive need at corner after losing Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson,” Manzano states in the piece. “But there’s depth at cornerback in this year’s class, and a few intriguing prospects could be available in the later rounds.”

He adds that the Chiefs “should look ahead and add Sadiq to eventually replace Travis Kelce. He can learn from one of the best ever at the position while offensive mastermind Andy Reid builds a unique set of plays for the athletically gifted Oregon tight end.”

SI’s Albert Breer has also said that he likes the idea of Sadiq. “I think if Tyson or Tate were there for them I think both of those guys would be possibilities,” Breer stated on The Breer Report podcast on Friday, April 17. “The corners, certainly with what they’ve lost this offseason with [Trent] McDuffie and [Jaylen] Watson being out the door. I think Delane would be a possibility for ’em.”

From there, he said, “and one wild card name that I think is interesting here: Kenyon Sadiq.”

So, Sadiq could be a not-so-surprise picks for the Kanas City Chiefs at No. 9. He’d be an apt successor to Kelce with enough training.
