How Rihanna Pulled Off Her "Living Sculpture" Metal Hair for Met Gala 2026
Rihanna's three kids are becoming quite the artists.
So much so, the "Love on the Brain" singer—who shares sons Rza, 3, and Riot, 2, as well as daughter Rocki , 7 months, with A$AP Rocky—got her little ones' artwork inked on her left leg courtesy of celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang.
The body art, a massive scribble containing lines of varying thickness, was "designed by her babies," Bang Bang (real name Keith McCurdy) wrote on Instgram May 8 alongside footage the tattooing process.
While the original drawing was done in colorful markers and decorated with Paw Patrol stickers, Rihanna kept it simple by opting for an all-black tattoo.
"The torture I've endured in this shop," the 38-year-old joked in one video, before telling in another clip of herself getting her latest ink, "Make sure my a-- looks good in the main shots."
Indeed, Rihanna has gone under Bang Bang's tattoo needle numerous times. Most notably, he is responsible for the Henna-inspired design on her right hand, which was added onto an already existing Maori tattoo the Fenty Beauty founder got in 2013.
But Rihanna's children don't just have an eye for tattoo designs. They're also budding musicians, according to the nine-time Grammy winner.
"Both of them love music," she said of her sons in a 2025 interview with E! News, adding that the boys "love instruments."
"I don't know who they get it from more. I'm like, 'Is that me or is that you, Rocky?'" Rihanna continued. "Riot, he likes to freestyle. So, that's definitely a Rocky thing."
In fact, Riot is quite talkative in general.
"Rza don’t be talking. That’s Riot," A$AP Rocky, who's been dating Rihanna since 2019, told Esquire in January. "He can’t stop running his mouth."

But that's not to say Rza is the shy one of the family.
"Rza used to bully the s--t out of Riot when Riot couldn’t walk and talk," the "Sundress" rapper added. "Now Riot go take that boy book from him, take his pacifier."

In 2012, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky performed their hit "Cockiness" at the MTV Video Music Awards, and their number was so good it deserved a trophy. This wouldn't be the last time the two shared the stage as they went on tour together in 2013.

As the years went on, they remained friends. In 2018, they attended the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring/Summer 2019 show as part of Paris Fashion Week and, of course, they totally slayed.

After announcing they were expecting their first baby, Rihanna recalled keeping her pregnancy a secret from her friends. "It was harder for me to keep it from my posse, because they're around me, they know my habits," she told E!'s Justin Sylvester. "They're like, 'You don't want something to drink? You're not smoking?' And I'm eating all the things I'm not used to eating. They know I hate sweets and I'm all of a sudden asking for cookies and donuts. But finally, I just had to let it all out, and they were all shocked, of course, as the world was shocked as well."

While fans wondered if A$AP Rocky had proposed to Rihanna after seeing them sport the words "Marry me?" and "I do" across their teeth in his "D.M.B." video, sources close to the couple told TMZ in May 2022 the two aren't engaged.
