Pint-sized cop at center of deaf NYPD worker’s sex-harass...

A pint-sized NYPD cop sued for allegedly sexually harassing a deaf coworker was charged Tuesday with pointing a gun at her, too.

Officer Quilbvio Espinal, 35, was arraigned on menacing charges in Manhattan Supreme Court for allegedly threatening civilian NYPD computer worker Megan Kwan with his weapon at police headquarters March 26.

Manhattan prosecutors alleged that Espinal, 35, pointed a gun at a coworker inside One Police Plaza.

Kwan, 25, who is Asian and relies on hearing aids and lip-reading to communicate, recently filed a civil suit against Espinal claiming she endured a two-year campaign of sexual and racial harassment from him and his supervisor, Sgt. Jayson Valentin.

During the alleged ordeal, Espinal, who was working in the NYPD’s information security office at the time, pulled his out his firearm and pointed it at the victim’s body after she had come over to chat with him and another unnamed worker, authorities said.

Espinal, who joined the NYPD in 2016, then slowly raised the weapon in line with Kwan’s body until it was pointing at the ceiling — before he paused and brought the firearm back down to his side all while keeping it targeted on her, the indictment alleged.

Espinal faces a lawsuit by the victim, who says she endured a two-year campaign of sexual and racial harassment.

Espinal pleaded not guilty to menacing in the second degree and official misconduct before Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Julia Mennin.

His lawyer, Robert Gottlieb, called the charges “atrociously absurd” Tuesday and questioned whether the incident happened as described — since apparently another person sitting near Espinal allegedly recalled a different scene.

“This is all about money because this so-called victim has already filed a lawsuit seeking monetary damages,” Gottlieb told the judge, adding that Espinal and Kwan had a close relationship for months before the incident.

But Kwan’s lawyer, John Scola, previously told The Post that Espinal “repeatedly told her he wanted an ‘Asian wife,’ called her his ‘baby momma,’ openly boasted of his ‘Asian fetish’ and sent her a steady stream of pornographic and racist videos, including one that mocked the way a deaf woman moans during sex.”

In her lawsuit, Kwan claimed that the horny officers persistently bombarded her with obscene text messages, mocking her disability and demanding she send nude pictures.

Valentin, who was Espinal’s supervisor at the time, begged Kwan for “sex and a threesome” and sent her at least one picture of his penis, the suit alleged.

In an interview with The Post, Kwan recounted her terrifying office nightmare — including when Espinal allegedly pulled the gun and pointed it straight at her face.

“When he pointed that gun at my face, time stopped,” Kwan said. “My only thought was I was going to die at my own desk and that I would never see the people I love again.”

In court Tuesday, the judge released Espinal on his own recognizance and extended his order of protection.

The cop — who has been suspended with pay for now — is due back in court Sept. 10.
