NY hoarder parents who left daughter, 3, to die from seve...

The upstate New York hoarder parents convicted in the horrific death of their lice-infected 3-year-old daughter had shamelessly asked for money the day after she died.

Samantha Dylewski, 33, and Matthew Dylewski, 34, were sentenced to up to four years in prison this month in the death of their young daughter, Joycelynn Ann Dylewski, who was found with rotting teeth and bugs on her face when she died from the deplorable conditions of the Corinth apartment on Feb. 19 2025.

The day after Joycelynn died, Samantha Dylewski shared a GoFundMe on her Facebook asking for money “To Help Give Jocelyn a Beautiful Goodbye.”

“My heart really can’t take this mommy need her baby girl back!” Samantha posted on Feb. 20.  The fundraiser, started by the girl’s grandmother, has since been taken down.

Commenting from her husband’s Facebook account below the fundraising link, Samantha acknowledged in a fiery post that the couple had been charged with a crime, but claimed it was “because our f—king house not being immaculate.”

“They had to charge us with something to be a–holes everyone who knows us knows Joycelynn was attached at mine and her father’s hip she had us and her siblings wrapped right around that precious little finger of hers,” she insisted.

“We just had to see our beautiful princess for the last time so let me my husband children and the rest of my family grieve in piece kindly go worry about your lives and families I’m sure half the people talking shouldn’t be throwing stones now have the day u deserve and kindly stay the f–k off my daughters pics and everything and anything to do with her!”

Joycelynn’s fatal lice infestation was so severe that she was diagnosed with anemia, which damaged her heart and organs. She also had clonidine, a blood pressure medication, in her system, Saratoga County Sheriff Jeffrey Brown reportedly said.

The combination of those factors led to her death, which was ruled a homicide.

Horrifying photos show rooms in the hoarder home were packed to the gills with garbage and debris. The conditions were so disgusting that the property was condemned, WRGB reported.

A cockroach even crawled out of Jocelynn’s winter hat when it was removed from her head by authorities. An investigator also reportedly found her teeth “rotten and black.”

The unfit parents pleaded to criminally negligent homicide earlier this year. The disgraced couple were slapped with up to four years in prison this month, with a minimum of 16 months served.

“She was a 3-year-old, and you failed in the most horrific way,” Saratoga County Judge James Davis told Matthew Dylewski at his sentencing hearing Monday.

“She was completely reliant upon you. … This was completely preventable, and it’s unconscionable, and I want you to think about that fact.”

Samatha Dylewski was sentenced on June 8.

Both parents are prohibited from having any contact with their four surviving children until 2038.

“As their mother, it’s my duty to protect them from harm, and I failed,” Samantha Dylewski said at her sentencing.
