Madison Square Garden will welcome the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at 8 PM EST for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Cavs just toppled the Pistons in a dominant Game 7 to earn the privilege of taking on the Knicks to see who’s going to the finals.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Brunson has averaged 6.1 APG this postseason and figures to keep this rolling tonight in Game 1 against the Cavs. Brunson has been playing less hero ball lately but is still putting up big numbers. He’s not going to post gaudy, double digit assist totals but he’s capable of consistently dishing out 6-8 dimes per night.
Brunson’s assists will come from passing out of blitzes and doubles and finding his corner shooters and rim cutters. If the Knicks’ wings continue shooting as hot as they’ve been, it’s extremely likely that Brunson will rack up more than 4.5 easy assists tonight.

Brunson’s been hovering around this number for this entire playoff run, putting up 27.4 PPG in this postseason while taking 20.2 FGA per game. His shot volume is what makes us confident in him exceeding 27.5 tonight. Cleveland, unlike Atlanta or Philly, does not have a clear perimeter answer for Jalen Brunson. The Knicks can also force switches and hunt for weaker defenders. The Cavs’ interior defense is solid, but their defense as a whole has been average overall with 114.1 DEFRTG on the season.
Brunson’s scoring profile includes many trips to the line, which helps in case his shot isn’t falling. If this game plays tight and close in the fourth quarter as many playoff games do, it’s likely that we’ll see a healthy Brunson scoring night.

Allen’s path to 13 is still the same reliable one, and it’s exactly why this number stays playable even against an elite defense. Allen scores almost entirely at the rim, off rolls, dump-offs, and putbacks. As long as Cleveland’s playmakers can bend the defense, he’s capable of reaching reasonable point totals. Allen is averaging 13.1 PPG on 64.5% shooting in the 2026 playoffs, and his recent form has actually ticked up with 15.8 PPG over his last five games as Cleveland has leaned into more interior finishing when the perimeter gets crowded.
The Knicks are legit on that end (No. 2 DEFRTG at 104.8 and No. 4 in opponent points in the paint allowed at 43.3), plus they can throw real bodies at the problem with Mikal Bridges/OG Anunoby/Josh Hart up top and Mitchell Robinson/Karl-Anthony Towns around the rim. But that’s also where Allen’s points come from: if New York loads up on Donovan Mitchell and James Harden and tags the roll hard, it won’t be difficult to find Allen behind the play for easy finishes. Cleveland has also shown its willingness to feed Allen, as evidenced by Allen’s 23 points in Game 7 against Detroit.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of at least two players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
