The AI companies lobbied for a free pass on a lot of things (data protection, privacy, copyright, access control…). Now the political might of their financiers forced LLM use right and left they will have to tackle the difficult problems that the humans they replaced dealt with. It’s only a question of time. The difficult problems can not be lobbied away indefinitely.
AI-with-checks is unlikely to be as cost effective as AI-without-checks.
