We had an interesting time at Velocity 2013 in New York City last week: meeting cutting edge developers, architects and system administrators as well as speaking with the product teams of many of our integration partners. Also, both our CTO, Alexis Lê-Quôc and Director of Technical Operations, Mike Fiedler delivered the presentations Alerting: More signal, less Noise, less Pain and Where do we go from here, respectively.

During the show, Alexis had a chance to sit down with O’Reilly Media’s Scott Hendrickson for a quick interview. In the video embedded below, Alexis explains the history behind the name “Datadog”, the user experience provided after signing up for the service, and also offers a high-level glimpse into Datadog’s future.
