On Friday evening, the Milwaukee Brewers will open up a series with the Pittsburgh Pirates (at home).
The Brewers are coming off a 5-4 loss to the Tigers (in Detroit).
Luis Matos finished the game with one hit and one run in three at-bats.

Before Friday’s game, the Brewers announced the news that they had Designated Matos for assignment (h/t MLB Trade Rumors).

The 24-year-old was traded (via the San Francisco Giants) less than one month ago.
