Speakers including Luong Minh Thang, principal scientist and research director at Google DeepMind and co-founder of nonprofit AI organization New Turing Institute (NTI); Wendy Nguyen, co-founder of Pacific Gateway Partners (PGP), and Ed Chi, vice president of research at Google DeepMind, will discuss three main themes shaping the future of AI.
The first theme centers on AI foundations, including large language models, computing infrastructure, data systems and emerging technologies driving the next generation of AI development.
The second focuses on safe and responsible AI, covering governance, ethics, public policy and the technology’s impact on society.
The final theme highlights practical AI applications in sectors including healthcare, finance, education, business operations and other sectors that directly affect daily life, the economy and national competitiveness.
The summit, co-organized by NTI and PGP, aims to move beyond academic discussions by promoting practical AI adoption and talent development in Vietnam and the wider Asia-Pacific region, while helping connect companies, entrepreneurs and investors.
"GStar Summit 2026 represents a pivotal moment for the Asia Pacific AI ecosystem," Thang said. "By connecting world-class experts with regional innovators, we are accelerating partnerships that redefine how AI serves humanity."
