The Craft Behind Memorable Digital Experiences: Inside Unseen Studio | Codrops
By Unseen Studio® · 2026-07-20 · via Codrops

We’re Unseen Studio, an independent creative studio specialising in brand, digital and motion.

We work with ambitious organisations to create bold identities and experiences, combining strategy, design and technology to deliver work that’s original, beautifully crafted and unforgettable.

Journey

Like many studios, we started small. Three friends, a handful of clients and a determination to create work we were proud of.

Fourteen years later, we’ve grown into a multidisciplinary studio working with startups and household brands from around the world. The tools have evolved, the team has grown and our capabilities have expanded, but our ambition remains the same, to create original ideas that deliver lasting value for our clients.

Showcase

Solare

A digital home for a beautiful typeface.

When Nikolas Type approached us to launch Solare, their newest typeface, we saw an opportunity to create something that felt as expressive as the type itself.

We created a digital oasis for the elegant new font family that invited visitors to explore Solare through interaction, motion and play. Every detail was considered to showcase the character and versatility of the typeface, transforming what could have been a simple product launch into something memorable.

Projects like this remind us that even the smallest briefs can become opportunities for experimentation. By combining thoughtful design with creative technology, we were able to create an experience that celebrated typography while pushing the boundaries of what a type foundry website can be.

Symphony of Vines

An interactive cinematic journey through the origins of an extraordinary place.

A prestigious château in Bordeaux challenged us to tell a story that had been millions of years in the making: the remarkable geological history behind one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions.

Rather than simply explain the Château’s terroir, as was the industry norm, we wanted to go beyond: we invited visitors to immerse themselves in it. Travelling back through millions of years, the site reveals the elemental forces that shaped the landscape and created the unique conditions for exceptional wine to flourish. Through abstract visuals, motion and sound, a complex geological narrative becomes something engaging, educational and emotionally resonant.

By bringing science, history and storytelling together, the project transforms an invisible process into something visitors can see, explore and connect with.

Animal Futures

Reimagining a complex report as an immersive world of discovery.

The RSPCA challenged us to transform a complex, sobering report into something people would actively want to explore. Rather than presenting a traditional digital publication, we created an interactive campaign that brings five possible futures for animal welfare to life through beautifully crafted miniature 3D worlds.

Designed around curiosity and discovery, visitors navigate each scenario at their own pace, uncovering insights, solving challenges and exploring how the choices we make today could shape the future of animals tomorrow. Interactive companions, collectible rewards and shareable moments encourage deeper engagement, turning passive reading into active participation.

By blending storytelling, game mechanics and immersive design, Animal Futures transformed a thought leadership report into an educational experience that inspires action, demonstrating how digital can make even the most complex subjects accessible, memorable and meaningful.

The Sea We Breathe

An immersive underwater journey that reveals our invisible connection to the ocean.

Created for Blue Marine Foundation, The Sea We Breathe is an interactive educational experience designed to raise awareness of the vital role our oceans play in sustaining life on Earth.

Guided by the unmistakable voice of Stephen Fry, visitors descend beneath the surface to explore three interconnected stories: sustainable fishing, blue carbon habitats and marine protected areas. Through immersive environments, cinematic storytelling and interactive moments of discovery, complex environmental issues become accessible, engaging and deeply human.

What began as a single digital experience has since grown into a long-term creative partnership. The project has evolved into multilingual experiences, immersive VR installations narrated by Helena Bonham Carter, AR campaigns and a series of new initiatives that continue to support Blue Marine Foundation’s mission. It’s the kind of relationship we value most: one built on trust, shared ambition and a belief that creativity can inspire meaningful change.

CLOU

An architectural portfolio inspired by the physical world.

CLOU challenged us to rethink how an architecture practice could present its work online. Rather than relying on a conventional scrolling gallery, we designed a bespoke 3D project ring that sits at the heart of the experience, inspired by the tactile qualities of architecture itself.

Built to showcase a large and diverse body of work, the ring combines project imagery with 3D geometry to create an intuitive, hands-on way of exploring the portfolio. More than a navigation device, it becomes an interactive data visualisation, revealing connections between projects through their scale, sector, status and scope, helping visitors understand the breadth and character of the practice at a glance.

The result is a portfolio that doesn’t just display the work. It reflects the thinking behind it.

Hubtown

A digital destination for one of Mumbai’s leading real estate developers.

Hubtown wanted a digital presence that reflected the ambition and scale of its business while making it easy for users to explore an extensive property portfolio.

We created an immersive scrolling journey that introduces the company’s vision, values and approach before seamlessly transitioning into an interactive map of Mumbai. Visitors can explore developments across the city, discovering projects through an intuitive interface that brings Hubtown’s portfolio to life.

By combining cinematic storytelling with practical navigation, the website balances brand and functionality, creating an experience that inspires confidence while helping users quickly find the information they’re looking for.

Cosmos

Launching a new platform with clarity, confidence and craft.

Cosmos approached us to help introduce their platform to a wider audience through a digital experience that reflected the ambition behind the product.

We reimagined the marketing website as a storytelling-led journey, using purposeful animation and interaction to communicate the platform’s vision and showcase its key features. Beyond the launch site, we designed a suite of marketing assets, refined the onboarding experience and developed a custom invitation system featuring dynamic WebGL-generated 3D gemstones, ensuring every touchpoint felt cohesive and memorable.

From first invitation to first login, every interaction was designed to build excitement, reinforce the brand and create a seamless introduction to the Cosmos ecosystem.

Culture

The work is important but the people have always mattered more.

One of the things we’re most proud of isn’t a particular project or award. It’s the team we’ve built.

We’ve always believed that talented people do their best work when they’re trusted, supported and given room to grow. Creativity thrives in environments where curiosity is encouraged and different perspectives are welcomed.
