Updated 6AM ET, June 26: We've added deals on the Sony WH-CH720N and the Belkin SoundForm Mini.

Deals on Headphones

It will be a while before you see Sony’s shiny new $650 1000X The Collexion discounted, but don’t worry, because the on-sale Sony WH-1000XM6 remain one of the finest noise-canceling headphones ever. They’re our favorite headphones for blocking out even the most disruptive background noise, while also offering superb audio performance no matter which genre of music you’re listening to.

A cheaper, poppier follow-up to Nothing’s superb Headphone (1), these stylish noise-canceling headphones look great and boast a full-bodied sound profile that’s perfect for pop and electronic music. There’s a slick app for adjusting sound profiles, battery life can hit 135 hours with ANC off, and there’s even USB-C audio cable included for hi-res listening.

With the same gorgeous, comfortable, iconic design as its predecessor, Apple’s AirPods Max 2 bring improved noise canceling and Bluetooth connectivity. Apple also upgraded software features, like gesture controls and Adaptive Audio. They’re a bit pricey at the RRP, but this discount is decent for Apple fans.

White Bose Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones sitting atop carrying case

It’s a testament to the quality of the Bose QuietComfort Ultra that they remain one of the best buys despite being over two years old. They’re supremely comfortable and have impressive spatialized audio, and because they’re Bose, they come with sensationally good, customizable noise cancellation technology. Though they don't sound quite as good, the regular Bose QuietComfort ($179) are also on sale.

 Sony WH-CH720N headphones

They may not be the best headphones, but these Sony cans are very affordable, and they are less than half price right now. There's no case, but the sound quality and noise-canceling are excellent for the money. They are also built to last and offer great battery life.

Belkin SoundForm Mini Kids Wireless Headphones

Sturdy, with padded ear cups, and volume limiting to protect your kid's hearing (85 decibels), these are the best kids' headphones. Sound quality is fine for the price, and they boast 30 hours of battery life and are water-resistant.

Earbud Deals

  • Review: Apple AirPods Pro 3

  • Review: Apple AirPods Pro 3

If you’re wedded to the Apple ecosystem and live for seamless integration and instant pairing, the AirPods Pro 3 are the best wireless earbuds for you, especially when they’re on sale. The latest generation has up to eight hours of battery, ANC is twice as good, and there’s also heart-rate sensing, workout tracking, and translation.

Better looking than the AirPods they’re aping, Nothing’s transparent little buds are a great buy, even at twice the price. The 11 millimeter dynamic drivers boast an open, natural midrange that’s impossible not to enjoy, while ANC delivers quiet better than most budget options. Sound quality won’t worry Sony or Bowers & Wilkins, but they’re a classy design with great fit, intuitive stem controls, app EQ, and fast pairing.

Aeroclip

Bose started the earbud-or-earing trend with the Ultra Open (8/10), but Anker’s headphone division made open-ear listening far more affordable. The AeroClip are light, comfortable, easy to use, and come with extra grips for small ears, and while the sound remains deliberately open for traffic, coworkers and the kids, quality remains clear and enjoyable. Great for sport, or just not feeling plugged in the whole time.

The most comfortable non-stem earbuds this reviewer has ever used, with a tiny case as pocketable as AirPods. Google updated the software back in 2025 to add adaptive audio, protection against loud noise, improved Gemini integration and head gesture control that’s not as silly as it sounds. A classy choice with the best integration for Android users.

The best-sounding open earbuds offer crystal clear audio and plenty of instrumental detail. The rollable build delivers a secure fit with minimal discomfort, though it can take a few tries to attach them correctly. Battery life is around seven and a half hours, and they have an IPX4 rating, meaning they’re resistant to splashes and light rain. You also get advanced Bose features like multipoint pairing and Bose Spatial Audio.

Deals on Sport Headphones

Left: Selfie of a person with short hair wearing Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds in orange. Right: curved, around-the-ear earbuds and an oval-shaped case.

Featuring the same H2 chip that powers the AirPods Pro 2, the PowerBeats Pro 2 impressed our reviewer, who praised the “crazy comfy” fit and dynamic sound. There’s also ANC and transparency modes for both road safety and gym sanity, wireless charging, IP57 durability, full-on bass-forward audio quality, and built-in heart rate monitoring.

JLab Go sport+ wireless headphones

The JLab Audio Go Air Sport were our favorite budget sports headphone and remain so, but remarkably JLab have updated the design—now called the Go Sport+—improved the specifications and cut the price. You won’t be wowed by audio performance, but the earhooks work well, they have IP55 sweat resistance, 9+ hours of battery, multipoint Bluetooth, and comprehensive app support. Hard to ignore while they’re on sale for $20.
