Proj (github:whizhuii/proj) puts everything in one folder, flat, with a category tag on each project: stable, archived, experiment. Each project lives in one directory its whole life — only the tag changes.

Proj has two ways to jump to a project:

  Fuzzy jump: type proj, filter by tag or name, Enter (fzf mode).
  Direct jump: proj <tag>/<project> (pass-like mode).

Categories are yours to define — stable, archived, experiment, whatever fits. Change anytime; only the YAML catalog updates.
