Sakurazaka46‘s “Lonesome rabbit” soars to No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, on the list released June 17.

The title track of the popular girl group’s 15th single, “Lonesome rabbit / What’s ‘KAZOKU’?” sold 683,481 copies in its first week to top sales and came in at No. 6 for downloads, No. 14 for streaming, No. 50 for radio airplay, and No. 95 for video views.

Sakanaction’s “Yoru no Odoriko” rises four spots to No. 2, with karaoke up 109% week-over-week. Though points declined overall, the track returns to No. 1 on streaming for the first time in two weeks.

Arashi places multiple titles on the chart again this week, with three in the top 10: “Five” at No. 3, “Love so sweet” at No. 9, and “Happiness” at No. 10. A total of 19 titles by the widely beloved boy band appear within the top 100.

Sakanaction’s “Kaiju” makes a notable move from No. 61 to No. 30 following the group’s eight wins at the MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026 ceremony held June 13, which included Song of the Year, Best Rock Song, and Best Anime Song, among others. Downloads rose to 153% of the prior week’s figure, streaming climbed to 107%, and video surged to 165%, the latter boosted by the track’s visuals winning Best Music Video. Also, after the domestic theatrical release of his biopic on Jun. 12, Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” rises to No. 50 and “Billie Jean” to No. 61 on this week’s tally.

The Billboard Japan Hot 100 combines physical and digital sales, audio streams, radio airplay, video views and karaoke data.
