Racist internet star who films himself hurling hateful sl...
2026-05-12 · via News | Mail Online

An internet star known for livestreaming himself hurling hateful slurs was arrested in Nashville after allegedly refusing to pay his nearly $400 bill.

Dalton Eatherly, the 28-year-old content creator known on social media as Chud the Builder, was kicked out of the restaurant on Saturday after staff caught him livestreaming without permission.

The Nashville Police Department were called to Bob's Steak and Chop at the Omni Hotel after the confrontation between staff and Eatherly, who walked out on the $371 bill amid a tirade of 'racially charged' slurs.

According to his arrest affidavit obtained by The Tennessean, staff at the restaurant told police that they had asked Eatherly not to livestream any content.

'The defendant is a live streamer who filmed content including racially charged content on Broadway for social media,' the document stated, according to the outlet.

After two entrees, cocktails and appetizers, costing the star a total of $371.55, the restaurant discovered that he had been filming and asked him to stop, the affidavit said.

'He became disruptive and started making racial statements, yelling, screaming and otherwise creating a scene at the location,' the document continued.

The controversial star then allegedly told staff, 'I'm not paying if you are kicking me out,' before he left the establishment.

Dalton Eatherly, the 28-year-old content creator known on social media as Chud the Builder, was arrested on Saturday after allegedly disturbing a restaurant with 'racially charged' slurs and refusing to pay his $371 bill

Police discovered Eatherly walking down the street in Nashville after leaving Bob's Steak and Chop at the Omni Hotel and not paying his bill

The internet star was charged with theft of services, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest

A video posted on X, which appeared to be filmed by Eatherly, showed the content creator speaking to two staffers at the restaurant.

'You seem kinda upset,' Eatherly said to the pair of employees, who then said it was 'time to go.'

'We can leave,' he began to answer, before calling one of the staffers a racist epithet for people of Indian descent.

'Go take a s*** in the street,' he repeated multiple times. 'Hey man, don't get aggressive with me. We'll get up and leave, thanks for the free food.'

'Oh no, we're not paying s***. Y'all are kicking me out or are we staying?'

Staffers were heard telling the live streamer that he would be 'paying then leaving,' to which Eatherly was heard saying, 'Oh, you think?'

'Buddy, I didn't get to enjoy my meal. You're kicking me out. I'm not paying for s***,' he continued, before referring to the other staffer as another derogatory slur.

As Eatherly was walking out the door, he shook the hand of another incoming patron and told him not to eat at the restaurant.

Eatherly claimed to have been interviewed by the FBI and a Domestic Terrorist Detective for 'about two hours' before he was booked and allegedly asked him if he was 'part of some organization'

As he walked out onto the street, Eatherly then pointed to the restaurant's signage and told his viewers: 'Don't come here. They don't like freedom'

'I would not eat here if I were you because they just kicked us out because apparently my content offends [them],' he was heard saying in the video.

'I wouldn't eat here if I were you. This guy knows me, he just wanted to shake my hand because he respects America unlike you m***** f***.'

As he walked out onto the street, Eatherly then pointed to the restaurant's signage and told his viewers: 'Don't come here. They don't like freedom.'

According to the Tennessean, police discovered Eatherly later walking down the street on Broadway and attempted to take him into custody.

At first, he allegedly pulled his arm away but was then arrested without incident, the affidavit said.

In a video clip of his arrest, he was heard asking officers, 'What did I do?'

The internet star was charged with theft of services, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, the outlet reported.

'I partially ate the two appetizers I ordered. Never got my meal, and couldnt enjoy or finish the food i did get. He said on camera "ok just go then" Hes mad I called him short and then told the guests who stopped me for a picture on my way out not to eat there anymore,' he said in one post.

'Two appetizers I didn't get to finish before being kicked out because "people watching the stream are offended." They want to starve me, so seeing me at a nice restaurant offends people so much that they call and harass restaurants over it,' he said in another.

Eatherly claimed he was interviewed by the FBI and a Domestic Terrorist Detective for 'about two hours' before he was booked and allegedly asked him if he was 'part of some organization.'

'No sir I'm just a dude with a camera,' he said.

'Phone seized as "evidence of a crime." No way of contacting anyone. Just got back to my Airbnb after 13 hours in custody for leaving a restaurant when asked to,' he wrote in a separate post.

In another controversial post, he claimed to have been in a cell with other people of color and claimed '90 percent' of them loved him.

'A few even went as far as to stand up for me against the others,' he wrote, referring to some as another derogatory slur.

According to jail records, he was then released the following morning at around 11.21am.

The Daily Mail reached out to Eatherly and the Davidson County Circuit Court Clerk for comment.
