An 18-year-old man allegedly stole a truck before crashing into multiple cars and an elementary school playground.
Robert Littlepage was arrested after the wreckage that unfolded Tuesday in Philadelphia's Kingsessing neighborhood.
Terrifying video showed a white utility truck speeding out of control at an intersection when it slammed into another vehicle.
Debris could be seen flying as the struck car spun out, before the white truck veered into a nearby playground.
Footage of the aftermath showed the truck on its side, with tools and supplies like wood scattered across the playground. No children were present, NBC10 reported.
Philadelphia police said the incident began when Littlepage, who is from Georgia, allegedly tried to carjack a woman on the 6300 block of Grays Avenue at 2.15pm.
The 18-year-old then allegedly stole a white utility truck that was idling near 62nd and Reedland streets.

He later fled down a street, and struck a first parked car, before jumping a curb and driving along a sidewalk, investigators told the outlet.
The driver then ran a red light and smashed into a second vehicle, which was caught on camera, according to police.
Littlepage allegedly hit two more parked cars before veering into S Weir Mitchell Elementary School's playground, where his truck flipped onto its side.
Police confirmed that no bystanders were seriously injured in the car wreckage.
A nearby crossing guard who witnessed the crash told NBC10 that he rescued a child from one of the struck cars.
'I grab a kid out, because he’s stuck, frantic, pull him out,' Jamele Ransom told the outlet.
'Ain’t nobody in there. Guy’s in there. He’s trapped in there. Then I run out and get myself together because my heart is boom, boom, boom, boom,' he said.
Responding officers swarmed the scene and captured Littlepage, where he was transported to a hospital before he was arrested.
