The Watchlist invites consumers to shop key pre-loved pieces that align with the season’s top trends, alongside the legacy brands regaining momentum like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Burberry. The report depicts which labels are seeing the highest average sales price growth, like Rodarte (+721%) and Raf Simons (+384%), and the standout pieces surging in resale value, from the Gucci Padlock Bag (+530%) to the Patek Philippe Nautilus (+154%).

The report opens with commentary from London-based stylist Harry Lambert, who brings a unique cultural lens through his work in music and red carpet styling.  Alongside key stylistic insights expertly curated by eBay’s Resident Stylist Brie Welch, the report translates marketplace data into a shoppable style guide, helping consumers navigate shopping the season’s trends with confidence.

The Watchlist highlights how cultural moments translate into resale activity, and which pre-loved pieces continue to hold value–from the Prada Spazzolato seen on FX’s Love Story to the Cartier Tank Américaine worn on the Grammy stage by Kendrick Lamar. Together, these insights reinforce recommerce as a powerful indicator of what consumers are buying, reselling, and valuing today.

With fashion GMV accelerating in Q1 2026 and double-digit growth across fashion focus categories in aggregate, eBay continues to strengthen its position as a leading destination for culture-driven fashion discovery and recommerce.

Weightless drama

Transparency and movement are defining the season as consumers embrace fashion’s renewed appetite for romance and fluidity. Driven by the rise of sheer dressing and tactile statement pieces seen across runways and street style alike, searches for Alaïa ballet flats are up 58% year-over-year, alongside a 31% increase in feather detailing. 

Slightly unsettled

Fashion’s shift away from polished perfection is fueling demand for silhouettes that feel intentionally undone or slightly off-balance. As consumers lean into relaxed proportions and anti-pristine styling, demand for Levi’s boot cut jeans is up 67%, while the Balenciaga Le City Bag has climbed 52%. 

Drenched in disruption

Maximalist styling is making a confident return as shoppers seek pieces with personality, texture and visual impact. Decorative finishes and statement accessories are gaining momentum, with shearling trim up 132% and searches for the Marc Jacobs Blake bag rising 44%. 

Color interruption

After seasons dominated by neutrals, bold color pairings and retro-inspired palettes are reenergizing wardrobes. Consumers are embracing playful contrast and expressive styling, driving searches for Missoni beanies up 56% and Chrome Hearts up 35%. 

Quiet confidence

Understated luxury continues to evolve through softer tailoring and investment staples that feel effortless rather than overt. As shoppers prioritize versatile polish and ease, searches for slouchy blazers are up 1495%, while The Row loafers have increased 89%.
