$100,000 commitment will empower 10 sellers to become eBay Live success stories —applications open May 28 through June 25.
For over three decades, eBay has been more than a marketplace — it’s been an economic engine powering entrepreneurs around the world. Today, we’re proud to announce the return of our Up & Running Grants program for 2026, with a renewed focus on the future of selling: eBay Live.
eBay Live brings community, enthusiasts, and interactive shopping together in one highly engaging and immersive experience. The format offers an authentic live shopping experience and is available for live selling in categories including collectibles such as sports trading cards, collectible toys, comics, beauty, tools and luxury goods including watches, handbags, and jewelry. As one of eBay’s fastest-growing formats, eBay Live is opening new opportunities for sellers to connect with buyers in real time and grow their businesses in dynamic ways.
This year, we’re providing $100,000 to help select sellers turn their passion into scalable, live-driven businesses. Applications are open May 28 through June 25, inviting sellers in the U.S. to take the next step in their growth journey — whether you are a current eBay Live seller or looking to join the platform for the first time.
Now in its seventh year, the Up & Running Grants program is designed to bridge the gap between ambition and acceleration. We will select 10 sellers, each seller will receive a $10,000 grant to invest in areas like inventory, equipment, marketing, or hiring — paired with expert eBay Live mentorship and a full kit of pro-level live selling equipment. Whether stepping into live commerce for the first time or leveling up an existing presence, grantees will gain the tools and confidence needed to thrive in one of eBay’s fastest-growing formats.
Since 2020, eBay has awarded more than $3 million in grants, fueling real, measurable growth for small businesses. They use the funding to upgrade storefronts, expand teams, and strengthen their local economies. With eBay Live opening new doors for connection and commerce, this year’s program is about more than funding — it’s about unlocking the next generation of entrepreneurial success.
