KEY OBJECTIVE:

Ensure the quality of EBS before release to Japan market

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Be the expert for the Applications products being worked on.
2. To run product testing process with Oracle global testing methodology . Execute tests manually or via automated testing tools (WinRunner). Work closely with Japan for Applications testing.
3. Ensure all serious bugs are addressed properly before release to the Market. Prepare/execute test scripts
4. To work with NLS team and Global development team to track and fix the bugs. Communicate effectively with development team , WPTG, Oracle AP countries on technical aspects of the project.
5. Execute Oracle EBS new feature testing and write User guide Documents in Japanese.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING:

1. BS or MS in Computer , Business, Industry Engineering or Operations Research.
2. Functional expertise in any the following areas: Discrete or Process Manufacturing, CRM, Supply Chain, Financials, HRMS, Project Management etc. Experience with Oracle Applications/SAP/Peoplesoft is preferable
3. Technical knowledge of Oracle database, PL/SQL, Linux/Unix OS, development experience will be a plus.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills in Japanese, Good in English.

ID189014: Application Engineer - Siebel Apps Unlimited Development(3/4)

OBJECTIVE:
The position is based in Beijing, China. The candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring the products meet the customer requirements, of the highest quality and are built within budget. The main focus of this position is to design, develop, unit test and maintain the Siebel CRM Self-Service application.

Current openings provide a great opportunity to work on one of the first Oracle applications built on top of the Fusion technologies such as ADF 10.1.3 and 11g. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about learning new technologies and staying ahead of the curve.

Candidates should be highly self-motivated; have a very strong educational background in Computer Science/Engineering; and have a proven record of designing and developing products successfully. The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in object-oriented software engineering, including experience with Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Swing, XSLT, Struts, Web Services, database, and web-based application development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Review MRD from PM
2. Create and review design doc for new features
3. Implement features according to approved design
4. Build and execute unit tests plans
5. Analyze and fix defects
6. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA.
7. Work with other groups in Engineering and QA to ensure that overall product feature, reliability issues and functional defects are addressed quickly in the required timeframe.
8. Use ClearCase as source control management system
9. Set up and configure Siebel and third party components
10. Exhibit professionalism in attitude, working relationships with colleagues, flexibility and overall work ethic

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
2. 2+ year product development using J2EE, Java script, Swing, XSLT, Struts, and Web Services
3. Familiarity with J2EE applications
4. Familiarity with Windows and Unix platforms (Solaris / AIX / Linux)
5. Exposure to application severs such as Weblogic and IIS
6. Familiarity with Oracle and MSSQL databases
7. Good knowledge of SQL, SP, Triggers, views
8. Exposure in DB tracing tools in Oracle / MS SQL server
9. Experience with source control software (Clearcase is preferred)

1. Design and implement installation/regression test suites for the products.
2. Execute test suites on various OS environment to discover defects in the products.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING:
1. BS or above in computer science or equivalent
2. Extensive experience with Unix platforms, preferably Solaris, Linux, HP-UX.
3. Solid Oracle database/Java development experience.
4. Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
