For community clarity following several recent announcements by ISSA and Richard Greenberg, OWASP confirms that Richard Greenberg’s membership and participation in all OWASP activities was terminated in August 2023. This followed a formal independent review process conducted in accordance with OWASP’s governing documents and Code of Conduct. All chapter leadership roles and associated privileges ceased at that time. OWASP does not authorize the use of its name, branding, event imagery, or member photographs in personal communications by individuals whose membership has been terminated.

OWASP remains committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and transparent community for all members and volunteers.
