The Devcon schedule is live! | Ethereum Foundation Blog
2024-10-31 · via Ethereum Foundation Blog

Hi Ethereum frens,

With just 13 days to go until Devcon, we’re amazed by how huge this year’s event will be! Our expected number of attendees has doubled since last time (12,000 vs. 6,000 in Bogotá), we have more than twice the number of Community Hubs and Impact Spaces, and we received double the amount of talk submissions. The Ethereum ecosystem has evolved significantly in its technology, and as the community has grown stronger, more global, and more active than ever. You will witness this all at Devcon SEA, through both technical content for developers as well as sessions for community builders, artists, writers, researchers, and more.

Over the past few weeks it’s become clear that everyone will be at Devcon. We’ll learn, teach, collaborate, and celebrate together as we work towards a more free, private, secure, and decentralized internet. The Devcon schedule is live You can now view all sessions, talks, panels, and workshops in the Devcon Passport app here, covering 300 hours of Devcon content.

Download the Devcon Passport and curate your personal agenda

Make sure you don’t miss any sessions you’re interested in by creating your own Devcon schedule. Use the Devcon web app to save sessions, customize your schedule, and share it with others. You’ll also get personalized recommendations based on your interests and favorite sessions. And the app includes DEVAi, so you can ask Deva anything related to Devcon.

Install the Devcon web app now.

Talks and workshops are just one part of Devcon (even if the most important part). Take a look at the Experiences page to see all 14 Community Hubs, Community-led Sessions, DIP projects, and special spaces you can experience at Devcon. Also, read this blog post to learn about the teams you can meet on-site in the Impact Forum.

Ticket waitlist and some stats

All general tickets are sold out 🙌, and ticket applications are closed. You can still sign up for the waitlist here, and we will do all we can to open up more spots as we get closer to Devcon. Today we just released our first batch for the waitlist.

This year, we’ll welcome around 12,000 attendees to Devcon SEA. Over 60% are attending their first Devcon. Almost 30% are from Southeast Asia and South Asia, with 10% from India and nearly 10% from Thailand. The top three represented roles at Devcon SEA are developers (35%), founders/entrepreneurs (22.1%), and researchers (9.7%).

Join the official chat and other POD-based activities soon™️

In just a few days, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to access your ticket via Zupass.

We have a few Devcon SEA activities that are gated by zero-knowledge proofs. We will have anonymous live Q&A with Meerkat, collaborative docs for speaker sessions and more with Fileverse, frogcrypto 2 🐸, you can curate a decentralized music playlist and skip the karaoke line with Social Stereo, be recruited to curate most interesting Devcon links on Kiwi News, and we have an official ticket-gated Telegram chat, where you can coordinate with other attendees before and during, and stay in touch after the event.
