You’ve Seen The Demo, But Not Like This

The bad news, to get it out of the way, is that the demo for modded Baldurs Gate 3 has not been updated.  The good news is that what you saw in the demo of BG1 in BG3 is nowhere near as pretty as what has been done by Deathbringer’s Reign recently.  The team have taken everything they learned about the Baldurs Gate 3 engine and went over Candlekeep again to give it the massive visual overhaul it truly deserves.  This does mean that it will be even longer before we start to see more content; something we’ve become used to with the remakes of older Elder Scrolls games in new engines.

The other reason to bring this up is because Deathbringer’s Reign is looking for skilled 3D & 2D artists that would be interested in joining the team to work on bringing the rest of Baldurs Gate 1 to life in the new engine.  If that is you, or anyone you know, you can pop onto the Deathbringer’s Reign Discord server and apply.
