Amazon’s Prime Day sale began this morning and will continue until midnight on Friday, June 26. It’s the online retailer’s biggest sale of the year outside of Black Friday, with the crucial difference that these deals are reserved for members of Amazon Prime – a £95-a-year subscription which offers the fastest delivery times, among other benefits.
During Prime Day, we only look for discounts on the products we have reviewed. If you see a deal below, it means that we’ve tested it, approved it and double-checked the Prime Day discount against the price history. We only include deals that are at least 10 per cent less than their six-month average – ignoring Amazon claims such as ‘50 per cent off RRP’, since many products are rarely sold at their RRP. Our guide to finding genuine deals explains how to avoid being hoodwinked.
Here’s a quick glance at the best deals right now, followed by our editor’s picks of this year’s best deals they’ve found so far.
All the products below have been tried, tested and approved by Telegraph Recommended. We use price history trackers such as camelcamelcamel and Keepa to make sure the deals are genuine.
If you want to use the Amazon Prime Week sales to purchase an air conditioning unit, you’re not the only one! Since the heatwave started, most of the models we recommend have already sold out and those that are still available are going for full price.
You’re better off hunting for fan deals, the best of which are below. Here’s hoping these don’t sell out too! A word of warning: I wouldn’t rely on Amazon in your search for cooling bedding. You won’t find much of decent quality. You’re better off shopping directly with retailers like Simba and Emma.

My recommendation for every sales event (Prime Day or otherwise) is to keep an eye out for discounts on slightly older or cheaper gadgets. If you only intend to throw your wallet at the latest releases, you’re going to be disappointed.
As an example, Amazon won’t reduce the price of the popular iPhone 17, but the budget iPhone 17e has dropped to its lowest price. Previous Apple phones will likely receive a discount, too, many of which are still worth recommending.
Since Prime Day is Amazon’s doing, you’ll also find discounts on pretty much all of its own-brand products, from Kindles to Echo speakers, to televisions and Ring video doorbells. In fact, Amazon so certainly discount these products that you should avoid buying them at any other time.
Here are the best genuine tech deals I’ve found so far this Prime Day.
The best iPhone you can buy if you’re on a budget has dropped to its lowest ever price for Prime Day, costing just over £530 instead of its usual £599.
The regular Apple AirPods 4 have many of the same convenience features as the AirPods Pro 3, and this early Prime Day deal reduces them to under £80.
In his review, Christopher Hall said you should be careful when you buy the Amazon Ember QLED – but now is a good time, with £83 off its usual price.
Dropping to its lowest-ever price in this early Prime Day deal, the Blink Video Doorbell 2 is currently under £30.

Whether you’re hunting for deals on large or small appliances, my top tip would be to try to shop out of season. Now’s a good time to snap up a discount on heated clothes airers or electric heaters, so that you’re all set when the weather turns.

There’s £4 off our Best Value clothes steamer, which had a noticeably stronger jet than others we tried and heated up quickly.
Tower's handheld steamer is designed for travel, with a slim profile and a carry case. We already thought it was good value, given the three-year warranty. Now it's even better.
If you’re suffering from hay fever today, this Blueair model is the best air purifier we have tested thanks to its sturdy build, attractive design and superb performance.

It’s often observed that mattresses are constantly on sale. And in fact, as Recommended’s resident sleep writer, I would never advise buying a mattress that isn’t on sale. But actually Amazon isn’t the best place to shop for mattresses, even during Prime week – not when you can get deep discounts at Bensons for Beds or Dreams.
Instead, focus your attention on sleep accessories, like sunrise alarm clocks, which may be discounted because they’re out of season. Snap one up now and you’ll be set for when the clocks go back.

Our Best Buy cooling pillow can be a cool place for you to lie your head during this week’s heatwave, made sweeter by the great deal price.
Currently £30 less than their average cost of £160, these soft, low-profile earplugs are designed for listening to podcasts or soothing sounds as you fall asleep.
Surviving a heatwave is a little easier with a cooling blanket and this is our Best Buy. “I found the cooling side too cold to begin with,” said tester Rosie Taylor. Sounds ideal.
This eye mask not only provides complete blackout against early sunrises, but the silk is also cooling against the skin. A Best Buy for a reason.
This is our favourite machine washable cooling blanket for keeping cool at night. It’s very soft and light and can be ordered with cooling gel pads for your mattress and pillow.
One thing can safely be predicted each Prime Day: we know we’ll see discounts on electric toothbrushes. Oral B and Suri reliably offer good deals through Amazon. Water flossers are also worth keeping an eye on.
If you’re looking to get fit ahead of a summer holiday, home gym equipment like resistance bands and adjustable dumbbells are worth a look, too. During the previous Amazon sale, we found some of our favourite resistance bands reduced to less than £10.
Here are the best genuine health and fitness deals I’ve found in the sale so far.
Oral-B’s entry level iO2 toothbrush has been cheaper, dipping below £35 on Black Friday, but this is a fine discount on what we already consider one of the best value toothbrushes out there.
You’ve probably seen it all over social media – the Suri 2.0 is the most beautiful toothbrush we’ve reviewed. It’s 25% off for the first time.
With the new Oura Ring 5 now for sale, the Ring 4 is significantly discounted – with most of the same tech as the new 5, just in a bulkier size.

Here are the best genuine deals I’ve found so far on kitchenware.
A water compartment means this air fryer can steam your food, as well as fry, grill and roast. It steam-cleans itself, too. It’s currently £30 less than its average price.
Ninja’s powerful dual zone air fryer is our favourite two-drawer model, thanks to its built-in heat probe for cooking food to a desired temperature.
Quick, quiet, low-maintenance and with a built-in milk frother, the only drawback to this compact pod machine is that Lavazza’s pods are less widely available.
This espresso machine was awarded our Best Buy, offering excellent value (even better with this deal) and producing some of the best flat whites we’ve had outside of a coffee shop.
This sale comes at the perfect time for summer holidays and I’m expecting backpacks and suitcases (both cabin and check-in) to be discounted. I’ll be keeping an eye on travel pillows and packing cubes, too, and will let you know if I find any deals on products we’ve reviewed.
If you’re planning any outdoors-y holidays this year, keep an eye on changing robes. And don’t forget everyday travel essentials. Plenty of our favourite water bottles will be reduced this week, some of which you’ll see below in my pick of the best travel deals so far.
