An England XI will once again go head-to-head with a World XI as the 15th edition of Soccer Aid takes place at the London Stadium. Celebrities and footballing legends will take the pitch to raise money for Unicef.
Founded in 2006 by Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes, Soccer Aid has raised over £121m since its inception. England triumphed in 2024 before falling short last year and hope to reclaim the title this year. The head-to-head record stands at eight wins for World XI and six wins for England.
Soccer Aid takes place this Sunday, May 31, and kicks off at 6.30pm for viewers in the UK, with coverage starting at 5pm.
The London Stadium, the home of West Ham United, hosts Soccer Aid for the second time. This was the venue for the event in 2022 (a 2-2 draw before the World XI won 4-1 on penalties). For this year’s edition, 60,000 fans are expected to be in attendance.
The match will be aired live on ITV1 and STV in the UK and is also available to stream on both ITVX and STV Player.
