My Favorite 5 KnowBe4 Agents
Roger Grimes · 2026-05-28 · via Human Risk Management Blog

Roger Grimes, CISO AdvisorWith over 10 years of experience in implementing AI, KnowBe4 has a ton of agents on its platform which customers can use to significantly lower risk. They help to secure the digital workforce (humans + AI agents). But five of them, all based and driven by risk scoring metrics, have become my favorites:

  • Custom Content Creation
  • Agent Risk Manager
  • AIDA Orchestration
  • Creating Deepfakes
  • AIDA Policy Quiz Agent

Custom Content Creation

With over 1,000 pieces of content (available in our SAT Advanced tier) in dozens of languages, KnowBe4 has always provided more quality security awareness training content than anyone. Today, any customer can create custom content, involving their specific policies, showcasing their own people, multiple ways.

With our custom Content Creation agent, any KnowBe4 admin can create custom content that follows their inputted policies precisely and admins can even select to include people from within their company to include in the training. Thus, you can have your CEO, CFO, CISO, or any other authorized person delivering the content in your customized training video.

Additionally, KnowBe4 customers (both Advanced and Foundational tiers) have access to content they can create with our partner, Synthesia. It allows users to create studio-quality videos with AI avatars and voiceovers in over 160 languages. The key difference is that our Custom Content Creation agent allows you to insert your people (using AI deepfake technology) into your customized training content, including Synthesia's content which features avatars and voiceovers. You get the best of both worlds.

Agent Risk Manager

Agent Risk Manager is truly a foundational product customers can use to inventory, track, and manage their AIs. Agent Risk Manager inventories your environment and looks for all the AI agents and tools it can find. Say goodbye to “shadow AI”. It then monitors those AIs and prevents many types of attacks against the AI that your employees use, including prompt injections, overly permissive permissions, and data leaks. If your environment is exploding in AI agents (and whose environment is not?), KnowBe4’s Agent Risk Manager is a game changer.

AIDA Orchestration

AIDA (AI Defense Agent) Orchestration allows admins to run our platform with minimal effort to achieve the same or better outcomes. Admins can let AIDA select which simulated phishing campaigns to run for which users. It assigns training modules, triggers reinforcement training, and even delivers customized landing pages for phishing failures, all tailored for each individual user and their calculated risk score from our KnowBe4 SmartRisk Engine. It uses seven domains and over 37 categories of signals (over 130 signals) to provide a complete picture of risk for each person in your organization.

AIDA Orchestration is being quickly adopted by our customers. It is at least a 70% time savings allowing administrators to concentrate on fine-tuning versus the everyday efforts of ongoing operations. Our AIDA Orchestration users are seeing equal to significantly decreased cybersecurity risk with less effort.

Creating Deepfakes

Anyone with access to an AI-enabled deepfake tool (there are hundreds), a picture of someone and some audio, can easily create a realistic deepfake video or audio of anyone saying or doing anything. AI-enabled deepfakes are easily one of the fastest growing types of social engineering scams. According to Chainalysis, scams that involved AI stole 4.5 times more value than scams that did not. That is a sure fire financial recipe for deepfakes continuing and growing in use in social engineering scams.

KnowBe4 has a deepfake agent that allows any customer to easily create a high-quality deepfake video of anyone else, say a CEO or a CFO. KnowBe4 limits the simulations to predefined scripts because we do not want people making and using deepfakes beyond our intent.

The KnowBe4 admin simply uploads a video of the targeted person who they want to deepfake and then essentially click "Next." The deepfake console will ask the user to confirm the quality of the audio and video before creating the final version.

Once created, the deepfake video can easily be added to a simulated phishing campaign pushed out to managed users. Users failing the simulated deepfake phish can be sent further education just like from any other simulated phishing failure.

If you are concerned about AI-enabled deepfakes, and you should be, KnowBe4’s deepfake agent is an excellent way to incorporate the appropriate training and testing in your environment.

AIDA Policy Quiz Agent

If there is one task almost as hard as writing corporate policy and distributing it to users, it is demonstrating that users understand it. KnowBe4’s AIDA Policy Quiz Agent uses AI to create easy-distributable quizzes from an organization’s own unique policies, helping ensure users truly understand expectations. Instead of relying solely on policy acknowledgement, organizations can validate understanding through targeted quizzes tied to real internal guidelines. This strengthens compliance initiatives while providing actionable insight into where additional education or clarification may be needed.

So there you have it, my five favorite agents. KnowBe4 has a ton of agents with many more being added every month. KnowBe4’s agents will help you significantly decrease cybersecurity risk as you secure your digital workforce.
