Gujarat Titans will take part in its third IPL final when it locks horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 31.
Its been a season marked by consistent, all-round performances from Shubman Gill and co, which has helped the team reach the Playoffs for the first time since the 2023 season.
GT were the second team to qualify this year for the Playoffs, after Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings by five wickets on May 18. A 55-run win for SRH over RCB four days later ensured a top two finish for the 2022 champions.
Out of the 14 matches, the team won nine matches and lost five, starting with a three-wicket loss against Punjab Kings in its first game.
After fininishing second in the points table, the Titans lost to RCB in Qualifier 1 by 92 runs, but made it to the summit clash eventually after defeating Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in Qualifier 2.
