DC jumps to fourth spot
With that thrilling win, Delhi Capitals has jumped to the fourth spot in the table. It seemed RCB was gaining control of the game in the second half of DC’s chase but it ran out of bowlers for the last over. Romario Shepherd had 15 runs to save but Miller was finally able to time two of shots to make the game for Delhi. A good game in the afternoon, switch to the next to follow SRH vs CSK game.

Second innings to begin soon
It was a terrific bowling performance by Delhi Capitals to restrict Royal Challengers Bengaluru to 175 in 20 overs after being taken to the cleaners in the first 12 overs.
RCB looked well set to post more than 200 after being 122 after 12 overs and an explosive Tim David out in the middle but the home side lost all momentum after that thanks to the spinners and the pacers using the slower ball to good effect.
It is obvious that DC will be the happier of the two sides but on a slowish surface and against a misfiring DC top order, can RCB’s bowlers repeat its exploits from last match and defend this total? This is going to be an interesting chase, stay tuned.

April 18- The day the IPL was born
Today marks the 18th anniversary of the first match of the very first IPL season way back in 2008. Incidentally, the first match was also held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium when Royal Challengers Bengaluru took on Kolkata Knight Riders.
It was a debut to forget for RCB as it suffered 140 run loss and the host will be looking to flip the script against Delhi Capitals today and extend its winning momentum.
Today’s fixture will also be RCB’s 100th IPL game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the only team in the IPL to play 100 matches at a single venue.
