DC opener KL Rahul brought up his fastest IPL century against Punjab Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Rahul brought up his century in 47 balls, which is eight deliveries faster than his century for LSG against MI in 2022, his fastest IPL century until today.
The 34-year-old now has six centuries in the IPL, which is joint third highest along with Chris Gayle in the history of the competition, and only behind Jos Buttler (7) and Virat Kohli (8).
This is Rahul’s second century in DC colours, after he scored an unbeaten 112 off 65 balls against Gujarat Titans last year.
