Rain could play spoilsport at Eden Gardens once again as Kolkata Knight Riders takes on Lucknow Super Giants in an IPL 2026 fixture in Kolkata later on Thursday.
The city has been experiencing regular spells of rain over the last few days, and on the eve of the match, the field was under covers and training sessions of both teams were cancelled as a result.
Three days ago, the match between KKR and Punjab Kings was also washed out due to rain. Only 3.4 overs of play were possible.
