Following the exit of real-money gaming brands like Dream11 and My11Circle in August 2025, the cricket league has engaged with entities like Google Search AI Mode, Campa Energy and Havells & Lloyd. Google’s entry particularly marks AI as a category in Indian cricket advertising.
Joining them at the co-powered tier are Birla Opus, Hero MotoCorp and Amazon.in. Further, JioStar also announced its associate sponsors including AMFI, Asian Paints, Vimal Elaichi, SuperMoney, MRF, Flipkart Minutes, Gillette, Vida, Rupay, Mondelez, Mother Dairy, Groww, Rapido, Muthoot Finance, Sunfeast YiPPee!, Google Pay, TVS EV, Angel One, Campa Sure and Amul presenting the Cricket Live show. Google Search AI mode is presenting the Match Centre Live show.
“IPL is an incredibly compelling proposition — one that brands have been quick to recognise. What’s particularly encouraging is that this confidence has held firm even against a challenging global macroeconomic backdrop, the commitment our partners have shown is a powerful testament to the unmatched value the TATA IPL on JioStar network delivers,” said Anup Govindan, Head of Sales – Sports, JioStar.
Last year, advertising agencies had estimated the real money gaming ban to cost IPL around 40 per cent of its ad revenue. Accordingly, the league’s ad rates for this year were expected to increase 10-20 per cent for linear and Smart TVs, said advertising and marketing agency experts speaking to businessline.
