Prateek Yadav, the younger son of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and stepbrother of Akhilesh Yadav, died in Lucknow on Wednesday (May 13, 2026). The 38-year-old was rushed to a civil hospital after he suddenly fell ill, but doctors declared him brought dead. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over his death.
