10-year jail for sexual assault of teen girl

The Special Court for POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) cases has awarded 10 years imprisonment to a youth for sexually assaulting a teen girl.

According to prosecution, Ramesh, 30, of Valliyoor sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in 2019 and the All Women Police, Valliyoor arrested him based on the complaint from the girl’s mother.
